Throughout the United States, many local communities have retooled existing organizations and developed new ways to provide connections and directions for Americans nearing traditional retirement age and looking for what's next.

The state links below provide examples of projects that are working to advance The Next Chapter principles and practices. Because The Next Chapter was not designed as a one-size-fits-all approach, each project has emerged with different features and involves diverse players.  Each suggests a different variation on the same theme – the creation of social innovation to capture the experience dividend of boomers for social good.
