People Everywhere Are Working for the Greater Good in the Second Half of Life

Ignatian Lay Volunteer Corps: Finding God in All Things

The Ignatian Lay Volunteer Corps draws people age 50 and older who have retired from their midlife careers but choose to continue working – with food banks, homeless shelters, prison ministries, literacy programs, and other groups that offer services for the poor in their communities. By design, the volunteers are not only doing much-needed work but also reflecting on what it means in their own lives.
